Their workshops have been successfully transitioned to the virtual setting, with pilots at 2 universities and over 75 students on over 20 teams (Dec 2020).
Chris is proud to have played a key role as a teammate and leader in the development of clinically and commercially successful technologies, one a novel asthma treatment (Asthmatx/BSC) and the other a device to restore arterial blood flow in the leg and foot to help prevent amputations (AtheroMed/Philips). As a founder and CEO, he raised $17M, including Series B (overcoming the VC “Valley of Death”) during the 2008-9 financial crisis.
His impact scales from coaching & teaching dozens of teams and hundreds of individuals, including at incubator/accelerators and universities. Chris is a co-founder and director of the CatholicU Center for Service through Innovation in Washington DC. They have also brought our program to the University of Texas – El Paso. t is amazing to see the progress students make in response to their thoughtful program built on Human-Centered Design, Scrum, and Lean Startup.
